As an Assistant Engineer, you will support the implementation of ESH (Environment, Safety & Health) policies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with local and international regulations. Responsibility
- Assist in the development and implementation of ESH policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Support the preparation of environmental impact assessments and safety reports.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate ESH best practices into operations.
- Monitor and report on ESH performance metrics to management.
- Provide training and awareness programs on safety and environmental practices.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes related to ESH.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in ESH roles, preferably in engineering or industrial settings.
- Knowledge of local and international ESH regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ESH management software.
- Certification in ESH (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
