As an Assistant Department Head, you will play a key role in supporting departmental leadership, optimizing administrative processes, and ensuring efficient governance. Responsibility
- Assist the Department Head in overseeing daily administrative and operational functions.
- Coordinate with government agencies, stakeholders, and community leaders to implement policies and programs.
- Supervise and mentor administrative staff to ensure high productivity and adherence to protocols.
- Develop and optimize office systems, workflows, and documentation processes.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and briefings for senior management and government officials.
- Monitor budget allocations and ensure compliance with financial and administrative regulations.
- Facilitate inter-departmental communication and collaboration for seamless governance.
- Represent the department in public meetings, forums, and official government events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in government administration, office management, or a similar leadership role.
- Proven track record in team leadership, project coordination, and process improvement.
- Strong understanding of public sector policies, regulations, and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, government ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian (written and verbal).
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving priorities.
