Responsibility
- Assist the Head Chef in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food items are prepared and presented in a timely manner, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including ordering supplies and managing stock rotation.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
- Support in menu development and contribute creative ideas for new dishes or improvements.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring they follow proper procedures and techniques.
- Assist in managing kitchen operations during peak hours to ensure smooth service.
- Participate in regular tastings and quality checks to maintain consistency in flavor and presentation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Assistant Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations.
