Responsibility
- Assist in developing and executing category strategies to maximize sales, profitability, and market share.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Collaborate with buying, merchandising, and supply chain teams to optimize product assortment and inventory levels.
- Monitor KPIs (e.g., sales performance, margin, stock turnover) and prepare actionable reports for stakeholders.
- Support negotiations with suppliers/vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and promotions.
- Coordinate product launches and promotional campaigns to drive customer engagement.
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align category plans with brand objectives.
- Identify cost-saving and efficiency improvements in category operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related fields (fresh graduates with strong academic records are encouraged to apply).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in category management, buying, retail planning, product management, or a similar role (for experienced candidates).
- Proven ability to analyze data (e.g., sales reports, market trends) and derive actionable insights.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and retail management software (e.g., SAP, Nielsen).
- Familiarity with consumer behavior, retail dynamics, and supply chain principles.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian (written and verbal).
