As the Assistant Branch Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned departments, ensuring seamless execution of sales strategies, inventory management, and customer service initiatives. Based in the vibrant regions of Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets, maintain operational efficiency, and uphold Merrymart’s commitment to quality and service excellence.
Responsibility
- Lead and supervise the selling floor operations, including fresh, food, and non-food departments, to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets while maintaining high standards of service.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure product availability.
- Train, mentor, and motivate sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve individual and team goals.
- Resolve customer complaints and escalations promptly, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and hygiene standards across all departments.
- Collaborate with the branch manager to plan promotions, visual merchandising, and in-store events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail management, with a proven track record in sales and team leadership.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and customer service best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in using retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
