Responsibility
- Develop and deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning.
- Lead and contribute to research projects in AI, data science, and related fields, securing funding and publishing in top-tier journals.
- Mentor and supervise PhD, master’s, and undergraduate students in their academic and research pursuits.
- Collaborate with industry partners, government agencies, and academic institutions to drive innovation and real-world applications of AI.
- Design and implement curriculum improvements to align with emerging trends in AI and analytics.
- Participate in departmental and university committees, contributing to strategic decision-making.
- Engage in public outreach and knowledge dissemination through conferences, workshops, and publications.
- Foster a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and academic rigor within the department.
Qualifications
- A PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field (required for Professor/Associate Professor; preferred for Assistant Professor).
- Proven teaching experience at the university level in AI, machine learning, or data analytics.
- A strong research portfolio with publications in reputable journals and conferences.
- Experience in securing research grants or industry collaborations (advantageous).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire students and colleagues.
- Familiarity with modern AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and applied research with societal impact.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia and adapt to a multicultural academic environment.
