Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Asset and Configuration Management (ACM) framework in alignment with ITIL best practices.
- Oversee the lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and retirement.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of configuration items (CIs) in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to assess and manage changes, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
- Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of asset and configuration data.
- Generate reports and provide insights on asset utilization, compliance, and cost optimization.
- Support incident, problem, and change management processes by providing accurate configuration data.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of ACM practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Asset Management, Configuration Management, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks, particularly in Asset and Configuration Management.
- Experience with CMDB tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Helix, or similar platforms).
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and using tools like Excel or Power BI.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Certifications such as ITIL v4 Foundation or ISO 20000 are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
