Responsibility
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of assembly machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in machinery and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve machinery efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on assembly equipment.
- Document maintenance activities and report any anomalies to the engineering team.
- Assist in the installation and calibration of new machinery and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in machinery maintenance and troubleshooting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to machinery operation.
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software is a plus.
