Responsibility
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AS400 applications and systems.
- Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to identify and resolve application issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation for AS400 processes and procedures.
- Assist in the implementation of system upgrades and patches.
- Ensure data integrity and security within the AS400 environment.
- Train end-users on AS400 applications and best practices.
- Participate in on-call support rotations as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in AS400 application support.
- Strong knowledge of AS400 operating systems, RPG, and CL programming.
- Experience with database management and SQL queries.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification in AS400 or related technologies is a plus.
