Responsibility
- Welcome and engage with gallery visitors, providing insights into the artwork and artists.
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing artwork, ensuring a seamless sales process.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the gallery’s collection, artists, and current exhibitions.
- Handle sales transactions, including processing payments and managing invoices.
- Collaborate with the gallery team to organize and promote exhibitions and events.
- Ensure the gallery space is well-maintained, clean, and visually appealing.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, artists, and art collectors.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking sales and updating records.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, retail, or customer service, preferably in an art gallery or similar environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Passion for art and a basic understanding of art history, techniques, and trends.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and demeanor, with a customer-focused approach.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
