Responsibility
- Lead and manage the architectural and structural design process from concept to final approval, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to develop feasible, cost-effective, and aesthetically pleasing design solutions.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed drawings, specifications, and 3D models using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
- Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate structural integrity, feasibility, and environmental impact.
- Ensure all projects adhere to building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior designers and draftsmen, fostering a culture of innovation and precision.
- Coordinate with project managers to align design timelines with construction schedules and budgets.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in architecture, materials, and construction technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in architectural and structural design, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven portfolio of completed projects, showcasing expertise in residential, commercial, or hospitality design.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, seismic design, and sustainable construction practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience working in Southeast Asia or tropical climates is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
