Responsibility
- Develop accurate cost estimates for architectural and interior design projects, including materials, labor, and overheads.
- Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and contractors to align cost projections with design specifications and client budgets.
- Analyze project blueprints, schematics, and design documents to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Prepare detailed bid proposals, cost reports, and financial forecasts for stakeholders and clients.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements, material availability, and potential cost risks.
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase and provide real-time adjustments to prevent budget overruns.
- Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and local regulations affecting construction and design in Bali.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and project documentation for compliance and auditing purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cost estimation for architectural or interior design projects, preferably in Bali or Southeast Asia.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., RSMeans, CostX, or similar) and AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and local labor costs in Bali.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial projections.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a focus on hospitality, residential, or commercial projects.
