Responsibility
- Manage and monitor accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Reconcile patient accounts, identify outstanding balances, and follow up on overdue payments with professionalism.
- Generate financial reports and analyze AR aging to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries from patients and stakeholders regarding billing and payments.
- Assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency in AR operations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in financial systems.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- Strong understanding of billing processes, collections, and financial reconciliation.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive financial discussions.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of healthcare billing regulations is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
