Responsibility
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between Siltronic and key customers, providing expert guidance on silicon wafer applications and specifications.
- Analyze customer requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications for product development and customization.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Conduct technical presentations, training sessions, and workshops for clients to demonstrate product capabilities and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to wafer performance, working closely with internal teams and customers to implement solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their long-term needs and aligning Siltronicâs offerings accordingly.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive technical reports, documentation, and proposals to support sales and business development efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, silicon wafer technology, or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor processes, wafer specifications, and application requirements in industries such as electronics or photovoltaics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of customer-facing technical support, including problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese) is a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites across the Asia-Pacific region.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment.
