Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain EDI applications to ensure optimal performance, uptime, and data integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related incidents, including mapping errors, transmission failures, and data discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement, test, and deploy EDI integrations.
- Analyze system logs, performance metrics, and error reports to identify root causes and recommend improvements.
- Develop and maintain documentation for EDI processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for EDI systems, including after-hours on-call support as needed.
- Stay updated with EDI standards, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance system capabilities.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and execute backup/restore procedures for EDI environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Application Support, EDI, or Integration roles.
- Strong knowledge of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and protocols (AS2, SFTP, HTTP/S).
- Hands-on experience with EDI software (e.g., IBM Sterling, MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar tools).
- Proficiency in SQL, scripting (Python, Bash), and log analysis for troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications in EDI, ITIL, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) are a plus.
