Responsibility
- Provide technical support and application guidance to clients on the operation, maintenance, and calibration of analytical instruments.
- Develop and implement lifecycle management strategies to maximize instrument performance, longevity, and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct on-site and remote troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs for a range of analytical equipment (e.g., spectrometers, chromatographs, balances).
- Collaborate with sales and R&D teams to customize solutions for client-specific applications, ensuring alignment with technical requirements.
- Perform ISO/IEC 17025-compliant calibrations and validations, documenting processes meticulously for audit and certification purposes.
- Train end-users and internal teams on best practices for instrument use, maintenance, and data interpretation.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in analytical instrumentation to recommend upgrades or new solutions.
- Prepare technical reports, SOPs, and compliance documentation to support quality assurance and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in application support, calibration, or service for analytical instruments (e.g., Shimadzu, Agilent, Thermo Fisher).
- Strong understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 standards and quality management systems in laboratory settings.
- Hands-on expertise with spectroscopy, chromatography, or mass spectrometry techniques and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-experts.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); Indonesian language skills are advantageous.
- Willingness to travel regionally (Bali and Java) for on-site support and client engagements.
- Certifications in instrument calibration or vendor-specific training (e.g., from equipment manufacturers) are highly desirable.
