Based in the vibrant region of Badung—home to Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, and other cultural hubs—you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative designs to life. Your expertise will ensure our products stand out in the competitive retail and consumer goods market, blending artistic vision with technical execution.
This is a contract-based opportunity for a detail-oriented designer passionate about transforming concepts into high-quality, market-ready apparel solutions.
Responsibility
- Develop and refine apparel accessory designs, including patterns for screen printing and embroidery.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with brand standards.
- Create technical specifications and artwork files for manufacturers and vendors.
- Research trends, materials, and techniques to innovate product designs.
- Review prototypes and samples, providing feedback for improvements to meet quality expectations.
- Manage design timelines and deliverables to support production schedules.
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align designs with consumer demand.
- Maintain organized design archives and documentation for future reference.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) in apparel product design, with a focus on screen printing or embroidery.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW for design and file preparation.
- Strong understanding of fabric types, printing techniques, and production processes.
- Ability to interpret trend forecasts and translate them into commercial designs.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills for design challenges.
- Familiarity with technical drawing and spec sheets for manufacturing.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.
- Portfolio showcasing apparel or textile design projects (required).
