Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage airfreight import and export operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective shipments.
- Liaise with airlines, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth clearance and delivery of goods.
- Monitor and track shipments, providing real-time updates to clients and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including customs documentation and tariff classifications.
- Optimize routing and carrier selection to minimize costs and transit times.
- Resolve operational issues and discrepancies, maintaining high service standards.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for all shipments.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in airfreight operations, import/export, or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, INCOTERMS, and international trade compliance.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English.
- Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for business needs.
