Responsibility
- Coordinate and monitor airfreight shipments from origin to destination, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with aviation regulations.
- Liaise with airlines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to negotiate rates, secure space, and resolve operational issues.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation (AWB, commercial invoices, packing lists) to meet international trade and customs requirements.
- Track cargo movements in real-time, proactively addressing delays or discrepancies to minimize disruptions.
- Optimize routing and consolidation strategies to reduce costs while maintaining service quality.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, expenses, and performance metrics for reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams (warehouse, sales, customer service) to align logistics operations with business objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in airfreight logistics.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in airfreight logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of IATA regulations, customs procedures, and incoterms for international shipments.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., CargoWise, Kewill) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
- Familiarity with Bali’s logistics infrastructure and regional trade routes is advantageous.
