Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage air freight shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Liaise with airlines, freight forwarders, and customs officials to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
- Monitor and track shipments, providing real-time updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.
- Resolve any logistics-related issues or delays, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Optimize freight routes and methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, expenses, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in air freight logistics, shipping, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and vendors.
- Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the logistics landscape in Southeast Asia is a plus.
