Responsibility
- Coordinate and oversee end-to-end air freight import operations, from cargo receipt to final delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Liaise with airlines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth clearance and release of shipments.
- Prepare, verify, and submit import documentation (e.g., bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists) in compliance with Indonesian and international regulations.
- Monitor shipment statuses in real-time, proactively addressing delays, discrepancies, or customs holds to minimize disruptions.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with service providers (e.g., carriers, warehouses) to optimize costs and service levels.
- Maintain accurate records of all import transactions, including tracking numbers, duties, taxes, and delivery confirmations.
- Resolve client inquiries and escalations related to shipment status, documentation, or delivery issues with professionalism and urgency.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, customer service) to improve processes and enhance client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in air freight import operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations, import procedures, and Incoterms (e.g., DDP, DAP).
- Proficient in using logistics software (e.g., CargoWise, Kewill, or similar) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with dangerous goods (DG) handling and IATA regulations is advantageous.
