Responsibility
- Develop and implement AI governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with global regulations and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with legal, IT, and business teams to assess AI-related risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Design and deliver training programs to educate stakeholders on AI ethics, governance, and responsible AI practices.
- Monitor and evaluate emerging AI regulations, industry standards, and best practices to keep Henkel ahead of compliance requirements.
- Conduct audits and assessments of AI systems to ensure alignment with governance policies and ethical guidelines.
- Advise on the integration of AI governance controls into existing business processes and technology platforms.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on AI ethics and governance, providing guidance to senior leadership and project teams.
- Foster a culture of responsible AI innovation by promoting transparency, fairness, and accountability across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Computer Science, Ethics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in AI governance are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in governance, risk management, compliance, or a related field, with a focus on AI or emerging technologies.
- Strong understanding of AI ethics, regulatory landscapes (e.g., GDPR, AI Act), and industry standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 42001).
- Proven ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, business-friendly policies and controls.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences.
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization, preferably in the consumer goods, technology, or consulting sectors.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
