Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage the transportation of aerospace materials, components, and equipment using company vehicles (Class 3 license required).
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks to ensure optimal supply levels.
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate timely deliveries and resolve logistics-related issues.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs forms.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move heavy aerospace components safely.
- Monitor shipment schedules and track deliveries to ensure on-time arrival at designated locations.
- Assist in the packaging and labeling of sensitive aerospace parts to meet industry and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to place orders and expedite shipments as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 3 driving license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing sector.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word).
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg) and work in a warehouse setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members, suppliers, and clients.
- Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and safety protocols is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime or weekends, as required.
