As a Material Planner, you will be the backbone of our inventory and procurement processes, ensuring seamless coordination between suppliers, production teams, and logistics partners. Responsibility
- Develop and maintain inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess or shortages.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to align material availability with production schedules.
- Monitor and analyze demand forecasts, adjusting procurement plans to meet changing business needs.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts, lead times, and pricing for cost-effective material sourcing.
- Implement just-in-time (JIT) inventory systems to reduce holding costs and improve cash flow.
- Generate and present reports on inventory turnover, stock levels, and procurement performance to stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve supply chain bottlenecks to ensure on-time delivery of materials and finished goods.
- Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and supplier capabilities to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in material planning, inventory control, or procurement, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong understanding of inventory optimization techniques, demand planning, and MRP (Material Requirements Planning).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills with a data-driven approach.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with AWS (Annual Wage Supplement) schemes and local labor regulations in Indonesia is a plus.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous but not required.
