Responsibility
- Execute precision repairs, inspections, and overhauls of aircraft engine components using specialized tools and OEM-approved procedures.
- Interpret and apply technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate component restoration.
- Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) and quality checks to verify component integrity and compliance with aviation standards.
- Document all repair activities, including work orders, test results, and maintenance logs, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot complex issues and implement corrective actions.
- Adhere to safety protocols, ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) controls, and cleanroom procedures to maintain a hazard-free workspace.
- Maintain and calibrate specialized repair equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, new OEM guidelines, and emerging aerospace technologies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in aircraft component repair, engine overhaul, or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) environments.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting OEM manuals, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Experience with precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMM) and NDT methods (e.g., eddy current, ultrasonic testing).
- Strong understanding of aviation safety standards (e.g., FAA, EASA, or CAAS regulations).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
