Responsibility
- Process and record financial transactions, including cash receipts, disbursements, and petty cash management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ledgers, and reports in compliance with government regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial statements, and audit documentation.
- Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and correspondence management.
- Verify and reconcile cash balances, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
- Handle inquiries from beneficiaries, staff, and external stakeholders with professionalism and discretion.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial and administrative operations.
- Adhere to internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard organizational assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in cashiering, bookkeeping, or administrative roles, preferably in a government or NGO setting.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and government accounting standards is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High integrity and commitment to confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
