Responsibility
- Design, develop, and implement ACMV (HVAC) systems for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings in compliance with local and international standards.
- Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and load calculations to determine system requirements and specifications.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC equipment, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on ACMV systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into building designs.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and BIM models using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Monitor energy consumption and system performance, recommending upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices in all ACMV operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional certification).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in ACMV/HVAC system design, installation, or maintenance.
- Proficient in HVAC software tools (e.g., Carrier HAP, Trane Trace, AutoCAD, Revit MEP).
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, ASHRAE standards, and energy efficiency protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and engineering specifications.
- Familiarity with BMS (Building Management Systems) and IoT-enabled HVAC controls is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
