Responsibility
- Lead and supervise the Accounts Receivable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
- Develop and implement AR policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
- Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on overdue accounts to minimize bad debt and improve cash flow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Service, Finance) to resolve billing disputes and ensure client satisfaction.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual AR reports to senior management with actionable insights.
- Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives to streamline AR processes (e.g., ERP system enhancements).
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Mentor and train AR staff, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing AR portfolios, reducing DSO, and improving collection rates.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and generate strategic recommendations.
- Familiarity with Indonesian tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Fluent in English and Indonesian; additional languages are a plus.
