Responsibility
- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring timely payments.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors or internal departments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are made on time and follow up on any outstanding invoices.
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper approval and documentation for all payments.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for accounts payable transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
