Responsibility
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Perform 3-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
- Prepare and process payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records.
- Assist in the preparation of AP accruals and month-end closing activities.
- Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues.
- Utilize Xero software to manage and track accounts payable transactions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Xero accounting software.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting is a plus.
