Responsibility
- Lead and mentor the Accounts Payable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.
- Develop and implement best practices to streamline AP workflows and improve efficiency.
- Monitor and reconcile AP accounts, ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement and Finance, to resolve discrepancies and optimize processes.
- Prepare and present AP reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes for AP, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Manage vendor relationships, addressing inquiries and negotiating payment terms when necessary.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting AP processes and implement necessary adjustments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of AP processes, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and process improvement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience working in a multicultural or international setting is highly desirable.
