Responsibility
- Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner to maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including accounts payable aging reports.
- Maintain and update the accounts payable ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.
- Coordinate with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals for invoice payments and expense reimbursements.
- Support the finance team in month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and journal entries.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting software and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as assigned by the finance manager or senior accountant.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable, general accounting, or a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
