Responsibility
- Process and manage payroll for employees in compliance with local and international regulations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including salaries, bonuses, deductions, and taxes, using advanced payroll software.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data with accounting systems.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports, tax filings, and statutory contributions to relevant authorities.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee inquiries related to payroll matters promptly and professionally.
- Assist in the implementation of payroll best practices and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support month-end and year-end payroll closing activities, including reconciliations and audits.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing or accounting, preferably in a multinational or fast-growing organization.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements in Indonesia and/or other Asian markets.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with employees and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
