Responsibility
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and expense reports.
- Prepare and process monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local and international standards.
- Liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure smooth transactions.
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Process payroll and ensure timely disbursement of salaries, bonuses, and other financial obligations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Stay updated on tax regulations and ensure timely submission of tax filings and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a multilingual environment.
- Fluency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia (written and verbal) is mandatory.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and GAAP is highly desirable.
