Responsibility
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, journal adjustments, and reconciliations.
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring timely and compliant financial reporting.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments, invoicing, and collections.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support tax compliance by assisting with VAT, withholding tax, and other statutory filings.
- Generate financial statements and reports for management review and decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and local accounting standards in all financial activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations (Indonesian tax knowledge is advantageous).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, and ethical conduct in handling financial data.
