Responsibility
- Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial records to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial data.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to support business planning and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT/GST, corporate tax, and other statutory requirements in Indonesia.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate smooth audits and tax filings.
- Maintain and update financial databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Support the finance team in ad-hoc projects and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a strong understanding of general accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Familiarity with Indonesian tax laws and regulations, including VAT/GST and corporate tax requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
