Responsibility
- Manage and oversee the full cycle of accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations to ensure timely payments.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements for management review.
- Monitor and analyze aging reports to minimize overdue accounts and improve cash flow.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, operations) to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure alignment with company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, GAAP, and company financial policies.
- Maintain and update financial records in the accounting system (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to senior management as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable, financial reporting, or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial compliance standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the maritime, logistics, or shipping industry is a strong advantage.
