Responsibility
- Process and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank statements with accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Support senior accountants in audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance, including liaising with external auditors and government agencies.
- Maintain and update financial records, databases, and documentation to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, or opportunities for cost optimization and present findings to the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, legal, HR) to streamline financial processes and improve internal controls.
- Provide ad-hoc financial support to clients and internal stakeholders, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, accounting regulations, and technological advancements (e.g., cloud accounting software) to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional certification, e.g., ACCA, CPA).
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or auditing, preferably in a boutique advisory firm, public accounting, or corporate finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- Strong understanding of financial statements, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in Indonesia or internationally.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- High ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and thrive in a collaborative team setting.
