Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely manner.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and submit financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure accurate billing and financial tracking of freight forwarding operations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry, record-keeping, and ad-hoc tasks.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in logistics or freight forwarding.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, including GAAP or IFRS standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with Indonesian tax regulations and compliance is a plus.
