Responsibility
- Lead and manage all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Indonesian GAAP.
- Oversee tax planning, compliance, and filing (VAT, corporate income tax, withholding taxes, etc.) to minimize liabilities and risks.
- Develop and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and improve financial processes.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate audits and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide financial analysis, forecasts, and budgeting support to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with local labor and tax regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in Indonesian tax laws and accounting standards, advising the company on implications and adjustments.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or Brevet A/B certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and tax management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, GAAP, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
- Experience in a multinational or fast-paced corporate environment is preferred.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; ability to work independently and under pressure.
