Responsibility
- Supervise and lead the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Oversee general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and journal entries to ensure data integrity.
- Develop and implement internal controls and accounting policies to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate financial audits and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial data and provide insightful reports to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Mentor and train accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Liaise with cross-functional departments to streamline financial workflows and improve interdepartmental collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, general ledger management, and compliance (GAAP, IFRS, or local standards).
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage and develop a high-performing team.
- Experience with audit coordination, tax compliance, and internal controls.
