Responsibility
- Supervise and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Lead a team of accountants, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster professional development.
- Oversee tax planning, compliance, and filings for clients, ensuring adherence to local and international regulations.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with auditors during external audits, providing documentation and resolving queries promptly.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization or revenue growth.
- Prepare management reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting key financial insights and recommendations.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting laws, tax codes, and industry best practices to ensure the firmâs compliance and competitiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and local tax regulations (experience with Indonesian tax laws is advantageous).
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote/hybrid environment.
- Experience working with international clients or in a global accounting firm is highly desirable.
