Responsibility
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and implement recommendations.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in a multinational or diverse work environment is an advantage.
