Responsibility
- Process and record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and intercompany transactions to ensure consistency and resolve discrepancies.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing journal entries, accruals, and provisions.
- Monitor and manage inventory accounting, including cost tracking, valuation, and reporting for manufacturing operations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings, ensuring compliance with local regulations and deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and operations, to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, documentation, and filing systems for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, including GAAP or IFRS standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data accurately.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Indonesian tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
