Responsibility
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, ledgers, and reports in compliance with accounting principles.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and financial analysis.
- Monitor and manage petty cash, expense reports, and reimbursements with meticulous attention to detail.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper documentation and approval of financial transactions.
- Support tax preparation and filing by organizing necessary financial data and working with external auditors.
- Identify discrepancies in financial records and resolve them promptly to maintain data integrity.
- Contribute to process improvements by recommending efficient accounting procedures and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or partial qualification is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role (fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance standards is an advantage.
