Note: This position is open to both local and expatriate candidates with the appropriate work authorization in Indonesia.
Responsibility
- Process and record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to aid in strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and file tax documents, ensuring compliance with Indonesian tax regulations and deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation, including invoices, receipts, and contracts.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles (entry-level candidates with strong academic backgrounds will be considered).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Indonesian accounting principles (SAK) and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets accurately.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
