Responsibility
- Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including VAT, corporate income tax, and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct financial audits and internal reviews to identify discrepancies, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support business growth and profitability.
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions to ensure seamless financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of local and international accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in a global or multinational company is a plus.
