Are you an experienced Intermediate Accountant looking for a dynamic role with an Australian client while working in the tropical paradise of Bali? TOA Global is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive accounting professional to join our onsite team in Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung.

In this role, you’ll work closely with an Australian-based client, handling a variety of accounting tasks while enjoying the work-life balance that Bali offers. As an Intermediate Accountant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements. This is a full-time, onsite position with a day shift schedule, allowing you to enjoy Bali’s vibrant culture and stunning landscapes after work.

Responsibility

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Australian accounting standards (AASB).
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and intercompany transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including GST, BAS, and other statutory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
  • Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the accounting system.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to Australian accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, AASB, and tax compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications such as CPA, CA, or ACCA are a plus.
