Note: This role is open to both local and international candidates. Remote work options are available for qualified applicants.
Responsibility
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general accounting entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification, payment processing, and reconciliation of vendor and customer accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting.
- Monitor and reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with tax compliance, including the preparation and filing of tax returns, VAT/GST, and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights, support budgeting processes, and assist with audits as needed.
- Maintain organized and secure financial documentation, both physical and digital, in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reporting.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
