Responsibility
- Manage the full daily accounting cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records through meticulous review and verification.
- Assist in the monthly closing process, including preparing financial statements and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Monitor and reconcile bank statements, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Support the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with local and national regulations.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights to support financial decision-making.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, both digital and physical, for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in a corporate or similar environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and general ledger functions.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Certification such as CPA or similar is a plus but not required.
